Okay, as you all know, I've been...wrestling with my Muses to get the fic for ncis_bigbang written. I've got about a dozen other writing commitments waiting (im)patiently on the back burner as well.

So, what better way to help me out of this predicament than to sign up for the Fall Fandom Free-For-All 2009?! :-)

The idea behind this is, you post a comment requesting up to ten items (fics, icons, vids) and then someone else who feels inspired can make something for you from you list. Of course, to be fair, you should have a look at other people's requests and see if you can't make something for them (not necessarily the people who make something for you!) in return. But it's all totally voluntarily, there are no deadlines, etc. Me like. Me happy! :-)

So yeah, I did post my requests, and someone snatched one of my prompts and wrote a story! YAY! And it's wonderful and fantastic and awesome and I'm hugging it to pieces! 

So, official fic rec: Tried and True by derrumtreiber - BRILLIANTISTIC! *happy sigh*

(And yes, in case you were wondering, I did snatch a couple of requests from others...this Free-For-All thing is really addictive! LOL! Y'all might want to check it out, maybe you get inspired to write something!)
