Remember my last update on the kink_bigbang fic? I started writing it and managed about 3,200 words in one setting. Was very pleased with self afterwards! LOL!

Well, after giving the whole thing another look, I realized that one scene totally didn't work, and I had to delete it completely. :( There went about 1,700 words! Oh noes! :( But it was needed, the fic wouldn't have worked otherwise.

I was a bit miffed afterwards and decided to ignore the new scene I had to write, and instead just plowed right on.

Well, I'm very proud to report that I just finished the sucker!!!



I do still need to write the new version of the deleted scene, and I figured out that there's another scene I now need to add, but both of them should (hopefully) not take long to write. I'll also need to do a rewrite, just polishing the story here and there since I wrote the damn thing in one go basically (please note: I deleted 1,700 words, leaving only 1,500 words to begin with, and I've now got about 13,500 words...that's 12,000 words I wrote in one go today!!!). If all else fails, I could probably post the sucker "as is" right now, but I wouldn't be happy with it.

Still, it's reassuring to know that I got another one out of the way (for the most part), so now I can concentrate on the fic I've wanted to write all along because it's the story that's closest to my heart, plot-wise: the NCIS bigbang.
