Unwritten Stories Meme - March Edition
I only filled 5 of the old prompts, but they are about 12K worth, so I'm pleased with self. *g* You can find the roundup post with them here.

So, I'm still ridiculously behind (there are 16 old bonus prompts), but I'm having so much fun with this meme that I'm going to continue.

Below the cuts are all unfilled prompts I still need to tackle, as well as 10 new prompt spots ready and waiting for you to claim! So, what are you waiting for? :)

Unwritten Stories Meme - February Edition (AU Version *g*)
I "only" filled 4 of the old prompts, but it took me almost 8,500 words to do so, and so I'm actually feeling pretty accomplished. :) You can find the roundup post with them here. I still have a whole bunch of old prompts waiting to be filled, which are the 17 (!!! *panics*) bonus prompts for this month.

But! I want to write more this year (my set goal is a minimum of 150K) and so I need even more prompts!

For February, I'm doing things a bit differently. I'm using a meme that's making the rounds on my flist these days for this edition, so...

Unwritten Story Meme - December Edition
My fail, let me show you it.

I haven't filled a single damn prompt last month. *headdesks repeatedly* Which means, I still have
* 3 prompts from September (!!!)
* 2 prompts from October, and
* 7 prompts from November
left to fill.

Add to that two advent calendar stories (1 for NCIS, 1 for White Collar) and a bunch of other writing commitments (without deadlines), and I feel like the biggest failure.

I blame Real Life keeping me crazy busy. It's the truth, but it's not really an excuse. Writing normally helps me unwind. So...yeah.

So!

I want to finally fill the overdue prompts. I also want to continue my monthly meme-ing because it's a lot of fun and really inspired me and made me stretch my writing wings. But December will continue to be crazy busy for me and I doubt I'll find the time to take on ten or so new prompts.

So I'm changing the rules for this month.

There's a "Five Acts Meme" making the rounds on my flist at the moment. See here for my post (it's friends-locked, so please don't be surprised if you can't access it). I'm hoping folks will find my five favorite kinks/tropes inspiring and will therefore write me comment fic. In return, I've decided to write at least one comment fic for everyone on my friends list who's posting their own Five Acts Meme.

These will be my December "prompts".

Starting January, I'm going to go back to the original idea of the unwritten story meme, so stay tuned. :)

If you'd like me to write you a comment fic, all you need to do is post the Five Acts Meme in your journal, and I'll add it to the list of people I'm planning to surprise with a ficlet (see below).

Unwritten Stories Meme - November Edition
So, I filled 8 out of 10 prompts, which is pretty good for me, all things considered. It means I have 2 October prompts (and 3 September prompts /o\) still unfilled. They're this month's bonus prompts, of course.

In October, I asked for icon prompts, which was a lot of fun. This time around, I'm asking for prompts based on my bingo cards (I really want to get some bingos done, damn it!).

So, here's the gist of it:

Have a look at my bingo cards (links below) and then leave me a prompt (or two or ten *g*) focusing on one of the bingo squares, and I'll try to write a ficlet (minimum word count: 500!) based on it.

Unwritten Stories Meme - October Edition (with a twist!)
I filled 7 of September's 10 prompts, so there are 3 fills left for me to write, and I'll do my best to get them done in the next few days. So, I'm starting with 10 new prompt spots for October. :-)

Then I saw a new meme on the White Collar part of my flist (and can I just say how awesometastic the White Collar part of my flist is?! \o/) and decided it would be the perfect twist to make the unwritten stories meme that I've been doing this year more interesting. Well, more interesting for me, at least. ;P

Unwritten Stories Meme - August Edition - CLOSED TO PROMPTING!
Okay, I'm giving this one more try.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't sure about continuing this due to the lack of feedback lately. Now, this might sound really whiny, and I do understand that people are too busy with RL or just don't like a particular pairing or genre or whatever. That's fine. I am, however, miffed when not even the prompter can be bothered to respond. As far as I'm concerned, that's a question of common courtesy. (Please note: I'm not singling out one particular person. This has happened repeatedly in the last few editions. Other authors might not care either way, but it's really frustrating to me.)

Having said that, I do have fun trying to fill prompts, and so I'd like to give this another go (with slightly tweaked rules).

Unwritten Stories Meme - July Edition
So, I filled 7 prompts this last month. Some of them were way over 1,000 words long, however, so I consider this to be one hell of an accomplishment! LOL! I just filled the last "old" prompt (from April!) , which means I only have the prompts from June left. Which looks like a huge failure, but I still consider it to be an accomplishment. So there! ;)

Since that means I've got 7 June prompts left to fill, I'm offering 8 new ones. I know I won't be able to fill them all this month, especially since I finally want to get back to my sequels and the epic WIP I'm working on, but I swore to myself to actually write short fills this month.

So, allow me to clarify: Anyone and everyone can give me a prompt, even if there's still an unfilled bonus prompt from you! All I ask is that people give me no more than one new prompt. So, just in case you thought I didn't allow new prompts if there's still an unfilled prompt from you - nope. Not at all!

Update on the Meme Thingy
I filled four prompts this past week:

Filled Prompt 1: Dorneget is still crushing on Tony, and Gibbs has to set him straight (bad pun, sorry). But Gibbs has to be nice about it, not Scary!Gibbs.

Filled Prompt 2: Something happens--accident, plane crash, shot by a suspect, whatever--and Senior's life is on the line. Gibbs can heal him, but he has to out his relationship with Tony to Senior first, as per his special power.

Filled Prompt 3: Neal, Tony and Gibbs - road trip?

Filled Prompt 4: Tony is jealous of Gibbs and [character X] being close

I know it's not much in the grand scheme of things, but I'll try to fill some more prompts before the month is over. *side-eyes Real Life and recalcitrant Muses*

I suck.

I only managed to fill four prompts last month, though I blame RL getting in the way and my Muses being recalcitrant. Plus, I suck. *g*

Anyway, I have 11 unfilled prompts to tackle still, and I'll do my best, I promise. So, I'm only offering four new spots for now. [Please note: usually, I only take 10 prompts a month, so this is me already warning everyone that I very likely won't be able to fill every prompt!]

Unwritten Stories Meme - April Edition

So, I failed again. I still have five prompts left to fill in the March Edition of this meme. At least I managed to fill all overdue prompts from February (and the one from January! *facepalm*) so yay for that.

Anyway!

I thought long and hard about it, but decided to stick with ten new prompt spots, even if that means I'll have a total of 15 prompts to fill this month. I have high hopes for the few days off around Easter... *crosses fingers*

Long story short, come and get it while it's hot! Behold the following rules:

Unwritten Stories Meme - March Edition
Okay, I admit defeat. I failed. I only filled 7 out of 10 prompts in the February Edition of this meme. Let's not even mention the still unfilled prompt given to me by [info]kaylashay81 back in January! *headdesk* (Then again, this one's gonna be an epic, so it'll take time...or I could just post a couple of sentences, since that's what the meme really is about, and then post the whole story sometime later... *ponders*)

Anyway!

I thought long and hard about it, but decided to stick with ten new prompt spots, even if that means I'll have a total of 14 prompts to fill this month. I do hope that Real Life calms down somewhat and I'll manage more writing time. *crosses fingers* (I'm now, what, four episode tags behind already?! *despairs*)

Unwritten Stories Meme - February Edition
I filled 14 out of 15 prompts in the January Edition of this meme. The unfilled prompt was given to me by [livejournal.com profile] kaylashay81 and is turning into a semi-epic. *despairs* *glowers at Kayla* *glowers at Muses* Anyway, this prompt will be the only official Bonus Prompt in the February Edition and will be filled first!

Okay, for the February Edition, I've changed the rules again somewhat. Real Life might interfere a bit more from now on. I had so much fun doing this here, I've decided to make a monthly tradition out of it! :D
