There's a waaay cool LJ comm called Spook Me that hosts an annual "Spook Me" multi-fandom fic challenge thingie!

I'm so glad I found it! :-)

I signed up - yes, I did, and no, I'm not crazy, but thank you for asking - and I can't wait to let the Muses out to play.

The good thing is, there's absolutely no pressure: no minimum of X amount of words, no obligation to post if the creative juices just ain't flowing, etc. It's nice and friendly and wonderfully spooky! What's not to love? LOL!

The deadline for posting is October 27th, so I should theoretically have time to write again by then. Unless my mind snapped before that thanks to the three mother-honking-huge big bang fics that are due this month. But I'll survive. *g*

Anyway, since quite a few of my flisters come from the good ol' XF fandom, I thought y'all might want to give the spooky fic thingy a try. *insert puppy dog eyes* Come on, you know you want to! ;-) Mulder commands you to help him investigate ghosts, werewolves and other creepy crawlers! :-)

Of course, since this is a multi-fandom thing, you can always just go and play in some other fandom...the possibilities are endless! :-)
