NCIS Meme, Day 28 - Favorite Cast Member

This one's a bit of a toughie because I really, really, really adore Mark Harmon. But in the end, I gotta go with my beloved Michael Weatherly. :)

He's incredibly funny. When you watch/read an interview in which he doesn't channel Tony but is "just Michael" you get to see how smart, insightful, humble and modest he is. I think Jesse Stern's blog entry about "One Last Score" described him perfectly, and when I read it the first time (yes, I went back to read it more than once!), I fell in love with the guy all over again. Heck, whenever I read or see an interview with him, I fall in love with him a bit more.

His coworkers continuously comment on what a great guy he is, and I honestly believe that they're being honest. Pauley once stated about their first meeting that she thought he was some air-headed pretty boy, and five minutes later, she realized what a great guy he is and they became best buds. *hearts* I love how Mark Harmon, who always speaks kindly of the entire cast and crew, only ever really singles out Michael and all but gushes about what a wonderful person he is. Damn, I love their rapport (not just as Gibbs and Tony, but as, ya know, Mark and Michael. Genuine love and respect right there. *hearts*).

Seriously, what's not to love about Michael? I mean, he fanboys all over Mark Harmon and Robert Wagner!!! Even his coworkers comment on his man-crushes! How much more adorable could that guy possibly be?

(In unrelated news, I've decided to use my scruffy!Michael icon to inspire gibbsgirlabby to write another shaving fic... *angelic smile*)

So true! You're right; he really does seem like a great guy. I also love his man-crushes. I was just saying in gibbsgirlabby's journal that I would choose Pauley Perrette, just because I think she does so many good things with her fame. She does a whole lot of good for a whole lot of charities, and that's awesome. She seems like a really cool person.

But you bring up a lot of good points in Micheal's favor! He really does seem like a cool guy-I always really enjoy seeing him in interviews and while everyone on the show is a good actor, I think his acting really stands out to me. I'm not sure why-he just seems very versatile. Although, it could be because I really enjoyed him in that youtube thing-do you know what I'm talking about? (Such a clear explanation, I know.) That project thing in 3 parts?

Anyway, my own vague explanations aside, I like your pick. Oh-and I also love the friendship between Micheal and Pauley and Micheal and Mark. So awesome. :D

LOl I love your comment :) I'm torn between the two Ms ;) Mark DID say he was very proud of me, but Michael...I've had my hands on that chest and he did ask last year if it was as good for me as it was for him LOL ;)

Heehee um...I get around? :) Mw and I chatted after Paleyfest last year. We worked together about 15 yrs ago and I had to take his shirt off him (we auctioned the shirt off for charity). And I've met MH two years in a row now in OKC :)
