Something Mulder would say...

"Artificial Intelligence Is No Match For Natural Stupidity."

I love that line. And it's so darn true, too! LOL!

Umm, anyway. Back to doing RL stuff...

ROFL!!

You gotta work that line into a fic! Sounds perfect! I can just see Elvis cocking his little head quizzically as Mulder unloads that line on someone. Hee!

Great Mulderism
I love that quote! (And I agree with Lorelei - it would be a great line in a fic.)

BTW, I just want to tell you I am thoroughly enjoying Virtual Sanctuary. (I was strictly M/K until I read Lorelei's incredible stories "Shaken" and "Boy", followed by VS.) My heart skipped a beat when I read Nemesis' angry email to MstrMan telling him that he was about to reveal his name! I am anxious to see what you guys do next!! Which will be soon, right? ::bats eyelashes fetchingly::

Re: Great Mulderism
Wow! *blush* You mean I turned you on to the joys of the Rat and the Bear? :D That really makes me grin!

Thanks so much for the tremendous compliment. I'm glad you gave it a try and now...well, we've got you. There is no escape! *cackle* ;)

Re: Great Mulderism
Yeah, it's all your fault! *g*

I still prefer M/K, but enjoy reading Sk/K now as well. I'm actually re-reading "Shaken" and I love it. Poor, sweet Rat. ::wipes tears::

You may have noticed that I'm kind of stingy with feedback, especially on list. I usually feedback quietly unless it is something I love so much I can't help myself. My problem is, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Sometimes stories are posted that I just don't care for, and I'm just not the type of person to give false compliments. And I think it would be obvious if I gushed over one story and not another.

So, I find ways to compliment my favorite authors in other ways, such as joining "favorite fic" conversations and posting "top ten" lists, emailing them, or, as in this case, when replying to another comment in an lj.

I really do love your writing and look forward to seeing more!

PS - Are you archived anywhere else besides FHSA? If not, is that a complete list of your stuff?

Re: Great Mulderism
Thanks Doreen! ::hugs::

Shaken II is coming, I swear. I mean it this time. *g*

I'm also archived at Ter/Ma. My stories up til about Sugar Daddy II are on my author's page there:

http://www.squidge.org/terma/lorelei/lorelei.htm

ned and leny stopped updating the author pages a couple of years ago so that's why it's an incomplete list. I still like sending people there though because the stories look so nice. :)

At the moment, FHSA is the only place that has my entire collection. Every single story I've posted is on my page there. Plans are underway for me to have a new cyberhome soon, but in the meantime, FHSA is the place to find all my stuff.

Thanks for the compliments! They definitely make me want to spank that Rat even more. ;)

Re: Great Mulderism
Oh I'm so excited that you are working on Shaken II. It is such an intense emotional piece. Watching Alex reveal the person under the mask is hypnotic. Walter is the perfect rescuer - I love his tenderness. I'd love to see where they go to from their isolation in Walter's home.

Re: Great Mulderism
Thanks Vesta! *hugs*

Actually, construction hasn't started quite yet on Shaken II but I do have pretty extensive story notes and I intend to start it soon. I just have a few other projects to get out of the way first. :)

That's alright. I'm just glad to know it's on a back burner. Can't wait to see some of your other projects. ****Vesta does her summer happy dance***

Re: Great Mulderism
Thanks, Doreen, for your compliments on Virtual Sanctuary. :) I know it's a wild ride, trust me, it's even wilder when you're the one writing it. *g* And yes, the next update will be soon - next Friday, in fact. There's a VS update every Friday at the Shack. :)
