Sorry for making y'all yawn, but I gotta share. It's even kinda funny, in a childish sorta way.

The last email I have received from Alice (we all know it's her anyway, so let's stop saying "a certain someone") "explained" why the stories were pulled. See yesterday's LJ entry. My behavior was the reason for Raven's stories, and removing the need for me to communicate with Alice was the reason for my stories.

Yes, we all know none of this makes sense. Anyway.

She also ordered me to stop contacting her. Right. Now, anyone who knows me also knows that nobody tells me to shut up. Especially since I still had a few valid questions. I wanted her to explain to me what problem she had with "my attitude", "my behavior" or why she thought I wasn't "civil", even though my email to her was anything but. I was still waiting for some valid reasons why our stories were pulled, not only from the Spookys but also the Basement, which has nothing to do with the awards.

So I sent her an email, asking her those questions.

A few hours later, I get an error message.

Sooo...I'm on her blocked email addy list now! Which is very professional, of course, considering the fact that I sent my email to contact@spookyawards.org - which is the official contact addy for the Spooky Committee! (and not her personal addy)

Now, first of all, I could, of course, just resend my email using one of my other email addresses. I won't. It's not worth my time, especially since I know she either won't answer at all or will reply with even more nonsense. I just honestly had high hopes of finally being presented with some valid reasons for her actions, you know?

Second of all, she explicitly stated that she had pulled my stories so there would be no more reason for me to contact her. Which makes no sense, since - as I already said - I had contacted her because of something else (Raven's stories), and besides, pulling someone's stories makes them want to contact you even more. Duh. But hey, she now found a way to stop communications with me. The blocked senders' list! Granted, that plan's got holes in it (I could use a different addy), but at least it works somewhat. But the funny thing is, she could've easily put me on her blocked senders' list without having to pull my stories first! So, anyone care to explain that logic to me again, please?

Y'know, I'm beginning to see the humor in this farce...
