Be a Santa - Get a Story!

'tis the time to be jolly...and charitable.

Lots of folks take part in the yuletides and wishlists that are floating around in the fandom world these days. I'd like to do something a little different.

"My" wishlist can be found here. Santa CAN organizes a gift drive for foster kids in Los Angeles (my old hometown). Please have a look at the website and then at the registered wish list.

Personally, I think this is the most awesomest thing ever (thank you to Willie Garson for tweeting about this) and I whole-heartedly support this organization. In fact, I've already bought a gift for a little girl that I hope will make her holidays a bit brighter this year.

Here's where you come in: If you go and play Santa for a child (or two or three...) and buy a present, I will write you a story! Easy, ain't it?

1. Peruse the wish list. Everyone is able to spend something! There are gifts for less than 10 dollars, people!
2. Follow the instructions to buy the gift. It's easy. I just did it and it took me less than five minutes. You can pay by credit card or PayPal, for example, so even non-US residents can be Santa.
3. You will receive a confirmation email. Forward this email to me or send a screen shot of the confirmation to me at sinfulslasher @ gmail.com so I can see that (a) you did buy a gift and (b) how much it cost.
4. Comment here to let me know (a) that you played Santa and (b) what your prompt(s) is/are.

I cannot promise 100 words per dollar spent (if you buy something for over 100 dollars, I'll be...writing for a long time... O_o LOL!). However, I will do my best to match the amount spent with the words I'll write. And I'm generally wordy, so there's that.

You can prompt me with anything. Challenge me! :-) You know my fandoms/characters/pairings. If you're unsure, feel free to ask! I'll try my best to give you what you want, I promise! You can give me one prompt for a longer story or two or more prompts for ficlets if you bought a more expensive gift (or more than one small gift). The sky's the limit here. I will write as many stories as there are folks willing to participate!

Please note: Because I think this is a damn worthy cause, these stories will have top priority and will be written asap! (among the other commissioned fics)

All gifts must be received by December 16th, which gives y'all about a month to play Santa!

As the gift is worth 30 bucks, I'd now write myself a 3K story. :-)

* Gibbs introduces Tony to the world of BDSM...on an undercover assignment. It doesn't take long for Tony to realize Gibbs isn't acting. And it doesn't take long for Gibbs to realize he's never letting Tony go. - FILLED! (~3,500 words)

* Something supernatural, but lighthearted. Perhaps Shannon comes down and gently nudges Gibbs and Tony together. Car problems, water main broken, etc...just trying to get them together :D

Donation 3 (for 1,200 words) by sexycazzy - FILLED! (~1,400 words)
* a crossover with NCIS/WhiteCollar - a superpower AU where everyone has got a special power of some kind...expect Tony who doesn't have any powers. His team at the NCIS looks down on him and use him like an errand boy for not having any power. He doesn't feel appreciated enough. On one case, NCIS and WC has to join forces to work on a case, and the WC team is impressed with Tony's investigating skills and wants to recruit him for their own team, and doesn't care that Tony doesn't have any kind of a power.

* Tony/Neal, every Christmas Tony always goes to see Neal and they spend time together before going back to their respective jobs. Cue sexy times as hell! :D

* Would adore a pre-series H/C fic with Peter and Neal thrown together into danger from an outside force. Neal must use his wiles to protect Peter from a baddie he's worked with in the past. Peter, suspicious and injured, struggles with the trust issue. :)

Donation 5 (for 1,000 words) by cookielaura - FILLED! (~1,500 words)
* Peter/Neal pre-slash - one (or both) of them agonising over whether to send Christmas presents/Valentine's cards/a birthday present which will show their true feelings.

How specific do you want the prompt to be?? Can I just ask for an explicit dark!fic?? NCIS or White Collar as the Muse leads you.

As for the prompt, you can be as general or as specific as you like! For example, with the dark!fic, who should be the victim (if you have a preference...and I'm guessing either Neal or Tony? *g*) and what kin of dark? Physical abuse or psychological torture? Do you want dark!Peter (or Gibbs) or one of the canon baddies or an OC to be the one dishing out? Canon setting or AU? Etc... As I said, if you any specific wishes, please lemme know and I will do my best to incorporate them. If you just want something dark (how dark? With o without comfort after the hurt?) then I'll see about coming up with something. :-)

I'll happily hold onto the kinky prompt for the next available edition, which, however, will be in February. (December is the 12 Days of Ficmas, and January is the Be A Santa gift drive charity thing). So, write it down somewhere cuz I'll forget all about it until then! LOL!

Which, btw, brings me to the obvious alternative: You could, of course, buy another gift and up the available word count. ;P
