Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] embroiderama because it looks like an awesome meme (and also because I'm a sheep *g*):

The Days:
1. Something old
2. Something new - talk about a new fanwork of yours!
3. Something you made for someone else
4. Something you made just for yourself
5. Something for a large fandom/pairing/character (1) (2)
6. Something for a small fandom/pairing/character
7. Something you're just really proud of

Day 7 - Something you're just really proud of
As far as NCIS is concerned, the story I'm most proud of is, without a doubt, Wants and Needs. A long character study focusing on Tony's want and needs in life. I kept things in character for everyone involved, explored canon, and even managed to feature a (canon) pairing I hate with the passion of a thousand burning suns without bashing it. This is, by far, my best NCIS story.
As far as White Collar is concerned, there's a very short ficlet that tackles a very serious and heartbreaking topic. It was incredibly hard to write, but I'm proud of the way it came out: The Promise

I had to go re-read The Promise and it's so devastating but so good. You absolutely deserve to be proud of it. ♥

Aww, thank you so much!!!

I do have to admit that this is probably my favorite WC story I have ever written. But it's definitely the one I'm most proud of. *hugs it*

Aww, thank you so much!!!

Yes, definitely heartbreaking. It killed me to write it. *sniffles* But I'm honestly proud of how it came out. :)

I just went and read The Promise and am sitting here crying. This story hits close to home for me, my father passed away from Alzheimer’s two years ago and we had opted to keep him at home. I could relate to what Neal was going through, especially the more bad days than good ones. It is one of the most difficult things to deal with, as a caregiver it is easy to get angry and frustrated even though you love and care about the person.

Thank you so very much!!! And I'm very sorry to hear about your father. *hugs*

I do admit, this story is close to my heart for this reason - I have witnessed the mental decline of a loved one, and while I was not the primary caregiver, it was still heart breaking to witness. :(

Thank you, *hugs* you back. Sorry you had to go through this too, it is one of the hardest things to sit and watch someone lose themselves.
