February wasn't a good day for me for a variety of reasons. I only managed to write 2 fics, both of which being in the Supernatural fandom of all things (!!!). I've also been working on the first of two White Collar Reverse Big Bangs. I struggled at first but then found my stride, so that's good. Let's hope the muse will continue to inspire. *crosses fingers*

I wrote a ficlet that was inspired by what happened at the end of the White Collar season. That plotbunny demanded to be written, even though I have a bajillion other fics that need to be tackled. Ah well. It was only 400 words long, so it's okay. ;-)

I started my second wc_reverse_bb fic (though I still have a long way to go), and started a fic for Valentine's Day. I also wrote and posted a commissioned fic! So I was a busy bee and feel pretty pleased even though I'm behind on the word count. :-)

Result for May 2013: I'm 5,815 words ahead of my target word count! :D

All because of the mmom challenge, obviously. Yes, I did manage to post a masturbatory fic(let) every day in May, so go me! However, this was the first time and will also be the last time I'll do this challenge. I have to admit that I'm feeling a bit wiped out now, and I dunno how conducive this is to the rest of my writing projects. Still, it was fun for the most part. :)

I suck.

And I'm an idiot.

Of epic proportions.

Why, you ask? Well, allow me to elaborate. See, I was under the impression that I signed up for the Modest Level (aka, the goal is to write 150K this year). When I posted my word count in the check-in post, the mod kindly informed me that I had, in fact, signed up for the Basic Level (aka 200K). *repeated headdesking*

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?! O.o

Suffice it to say, all of my previous status reports are wrong. I'm not going to go back and correct them though. I'll start using the correct word goal starting now.

So, status report for the month of February goes like this:

Result for February 2013: Despite everything, I'm still 1,301 words ahead of my target word count! LOL!
