As you might remember, I posted little gremlin helpers *g* to help me keep track of the four - count 'em: FOUR! - writing commitments I have/had.

There was the ncis_ficathon, which was due in mid-August.

There's the xf_bigbang, due on September 10th.

There's the kink_bigbang, due on September 15th.

There's the ncis_bigbang, due on September 30th.

I've also signed up for session 3 of ncis_lfws and survived the first round, so the next entry is due on August 27 (yes, that's in two days).

Here's a general update on everything...

First, ncis_ficathon.

The fic was posted on time, since I'm a very good girl. ;-P In case you're curious and haven't had a chance to read it yet, you can find the fic here: Big Brother (it's Tony/Abby friendship)


Next in line, time-wise, is xf_bigbang.

I'm extremely pleased to report that I met the requirements today - I passed the 20,000 words minimum! So, yay me!!! :-)

Please note: The fic is not finished yet! *headdesk* So, the story will be even longer when I actually post it. But I managed 20,000 words, and I'm so gosh darn proud of myself, I could burst! Hee.

Then we have kink_bigbang.

Nothing written yet, but a definite storyline is already there. I basically just need the time to sit down and write it. LOL! Since it's not a minimum of 20,000 words like the other two bigbang fics, but "only" 12,000 words, I'm hoping I'll be able to write this sucker in one go during a weekend sometime.

So, update on this front:




Last but not least, ncis_bigbang.

I wrote most of the first scene of the fic (got the general plot lined up, but need to figure out the details still), and I was a bit disappointed that I hadn't managed more words. I did honestly think I'd be up to 1,500 words or thereabouts already, but alas...



Oh well. There's still more than a month before I have to have that one done, so I have high hopes... *crosses fingers*

Well, and then there's the ncis_lfws  thing, and I'm really worried I won't be able to produce a fic until the deadline on Thursday. I'll definitely try, but in case I can't, I'm at least allowed to use a skip. I'd hate to do that, but...if all else fails... *shrugs* We'll see.
