If you had asked me that a year ago (or, hell, just six months ago!), I would've mentioned two things that have been taken care of now, courtesy of Gary Glasberg. (Hence the sparkly, shiny shrine we're building for him!) One: get rid of idiot!Tony already. Two: stop with the ridiculous faux Tiva crap.

So, with those two out of the way thanks to GG, and my show being, ya know, "my show" again, I'm pretty much happy, period. I love my show again! So it's a bit difficult to come up with three wishes insofar that I'm pretty much happy the way things are going. But let me see...

First wish, I'd love to visit the set and meet cast and crew. And yes, that totally counts! Because it's a wish and it's NCIS-related. So there! :P

Second wish, I want at least one more season. Now that we're back to great writing and wonderful acting (the snarking from a certain someone is almost non-existent these days!), I don't want the show to end in May. So, TPTB should get their heads on straight and make the cast members an offer they can't refuse. (And really, MW totally deserves a huge raise!) MH's still under contract for a year, so I have high hopes that we'll really get a 10th season. *crosses fingers*

Third wish, I want the characters I despise gone for good (yes, I'm looking at you, EJ, so you'd better either show up as a dead body or at least end up deader than dead at the end of ep 199!) and the characters I adore to show up more (yes, Toby, that means you, and yes, that also means Palmer being an official main character, and both dads should come visit at least twice a season, and no, they don't have to be the main focus of the ep) and the characters' relationships should continue to be what they are (meaning, no faux Tiva crap, the dynamic duo being the dynamic duo with cowboy style steaks and late night basement confessions, Timmy and Tony being the bestest banter buddies, etc).

Hmm.

Now, I liked Vance from the get go (yes, I'm that elusive person you've heard rumors about! *g*) but I don't like him enough to enjoy a Vance-centric episode, so this is kinda difficult for me.

However, if I had to choose, I'd probably go with the "Enemies Foreign / Enemies Domestic" two-parter. The look into Vance's (and Eli's) past was fascinating, the acting (and make-up!) was brilliant, and it gave us great insight into the character. Not necessarily something I have to watch again every month, but I was very positively surprised by this two-parter.

As for moment, I have to pick the last scene of "Judgment Day, Part 2" when he matter-of-factly splits up the team. Hadn't seen that one coming, so it was a huge surprise, not to mention shock, and it was the perfect introduction to this character.

JIMMY!!!

I love Jimmy! :D And I can't wait to see the next episode. I just know it's gonna be epic! (At least the Jimmy part. I think. I hope. The script was written by Chris Waild, the resident Tiva lover. Be afraid. Be very afraid.)

So anyway, Jimmy. There's only one Jimmy-centric ep, namely "About Face", which I love to no end, so this is definitely my favorite Jimmy ep. (Duh. LOL)

Favorite moment? For giggles, the scene in autopsy where he and Ducky are lost in translation about the "sand mite that might bite". For serious awesome!Jimmy, the few but brilliant scenes with Tony in which they are Gibbs + Ducky 2.0 (in Bounce and during Gibbs' Mexican sabbatical). No matter how much Tony keeps calling him "Autopsy gremlin" we all know they're good buddies. Plus, MW said it's his head canon that Tony and Jimmy are roomies. That alone is full of epic epicness. LOL!

To be honest, I have a love/hate relationship with Kate. I always hated the way she gets all uppity and thinks she's better than Tony (and for a profiler, she really couldn't read the boy). No matter how much Ziva and her lack of personal space and stalker-like fascination with Tony annoys me, Kate's blows were personal and low. All. The. Fucking. Time.

Best example? I just watched "Split Decision" again, an ep I love because of Gus Bricker alone. *g* And what does Kate do in the last scene? Mock Tony. Repeatedly. He takes it, even goes so far as to explain to her in a genuinely friendly way what he's looking for in a woman, and all she can think of is to rub the Voss thing under his nose again. She of the profiler persuasion, who had been there to see how badly Tony was hurt by Pacci's death, thinks it's funny to mock him for tonguing Pacci's murder. Repeatedly. All I want to do is bitch slap her into next week.

Quite honestly, Tony took more verbal abuse from her in two years than he did from Gibbs in nine, and that's saying something.

On the other hand, I do love the sibling rivalry scenes between her and Tony. When it was obvious that they genuinely liked each other, and the teasing was gentle and friendly and full of pure, innocent fun. But she took too many shots at my beloved Tony, and I ain't cool with that.

So, it's really difficult for me to pick a favorite moment, much less an episode. But when it comes right down to it, I can at least name a moment that really touched me, and continues to touch me whenever I watch it, and that's when she's dancing with Ernie Yost in the middle of the squadroom, crying.

Waaay too many episodes and moments to choose from!!! LOL!

Okay, episode... My top three...

"Truth and Consequences", because it showed us a lot of awesome BAMF Tony. Seriously, how many characters can you tie to a chair and give pages upon pages of monologue, and he delivers brilliantly? Exactly.

"Bounce" because, even though there were plot holes the size of which we've never seen before, it was amazing to see how frantically Tony tried to right what was wrong. I loved the dedication, the doggedness, not to mention the fierceness with which he worked the case.

"Baltimore", because we learn so much about the character from ten years ago. So much insight, so much surprising stuff, so much fanfic potential! ;P

Moments? Here are my top three...

The break down scene in the prison/holding cell in "Frame Up". That was actually the moment I figured out who Tony really is, looking behind his many masks, etc. Awesome stuff. Plus, MW knocked it out of the park.

The scene in "Bait" where Tony bitch slaps Jenny via phone, effectively telling her to STFU and leave him alone so he can do his job. Go, Tony!

Tony being all BAMF in "Requiem", shooting the bad guys while running full speed and then jumping into the water to save both Maddie and Gibbs. *points at icon*

Ah, my favorite probie! (Though, after watching "Sins of the Father", I have to admit that I might have a new favorite probie...*g*)

Which directly brings me to my fave episode, and that's hands down "Probie" because it gives us McGee growing up, Tony being wonderfully supporting, Gibbs looking hot in a suit, and a really good case to boot. I felt so much for poor Timmy in this episode, I just wanted to hug the stuffing out of him!

As for favorite moment, there are too many to count. McGee (or, ya know, Sean Murray really) makes the best funny faces and he's hilarious, especially when pitched against Tony. But I think my fave moment is when he BAMFs that bitchy official in MTAC. Why am I drawing a blank on the episode now? *despairs* You know the one, where Gibbs is running around solving the case and sending McGee to handle the hourly updates. Poor guy didn't stand a chance until he slaps her down and gets standing ovations from the MTAC crew. Love that scene! :)

I'm only now beginning to like Ziva again (thank goodness, GG is a miracle worker!) and even though I liked her just fine during her first couple of seasons, I was never a huge enough fan to thoroughly enjoy Ziva-centric episodes. (And we shall never speak of the abomination that is known as the Rivkin Arc in fandom!)

I'm not entirely sure if this counts as a Ziva episode, but she features more than she normally does in a stand alone episode, so I'm going with Jack-Knife. I love the episode for many reasons, most notably, of course, Fornell and his snark with Gibbs ("What happened to your face?" - "What happened to your arm?" - "The job." - "The same." *dies*). I also adored sleepy!Timmy and then hyper!Timmy. And there was Damon, and I really like Damon. And to be honest, I really like Damon with Ziva. And she was a cool chick in this episode, capable and feisty and just plain likeable (which wasn't an easy thing to accomplish during the SB years, let me assure you!).

As for favorite moment, I think I really adored her going undercover at this speed dating event in "Singled Out". It was funny and cute, the way she despaired, trying to get info from the potential suspects.

Though I'm also going to say this (and will probably be lynched for it): I loved her in that amazingly sexy blue dress, singing undercover in "Last Man Standing". That was pretty damn breath-taking in my book.

This one's easy.

Favorite episode is "Bloodbath" for all it's team awesomeness, be it protective papa bear Gibbs or big brother Tony or whoever. I just wanted to hug Abby to death in that ep!

As for favorite moment, that one's from this season's Enemy on the Hill, and therefore behind the cut )

Okay, I just spent about nine hours writing fic--in one go. I'm exhausted and about to drop dead (or, hopefully, into my bed *g*).

So, this will be short and sweet, and funnily enough, the same answer [livejournal.com profile] nakeisha and [livejournal.com profile] gibbsgirlabby already gave.

"Meat Puzzle" because of the creepy case and Ducky being awesome in it. (Of course, with me being a Tony gal, I loved him as Italian furniture mover dogsitter gigolo. *g* Mrs. Mallard was wonderful as well. :)

And yes, the best line about Ducky comes from Gibbs:

Kate:  "What did Ducky look like when he was younger?"
Gibbs:  "Illya Kuryakin"

Hee!!!
