I know that news are currently floating between the "unofficially" (at Deadline.com) and "officially" (at TVline.com) version, but it looks like he got a semi-nice birthday present:

Season 6 is apparently a go, though it is shortened to only six episodes.

Considering Matt's own statement that there'll be a season 6, I'm going with "officially" and just wait until USA deems it necessary to actually tell the lowly masses anything.

So, yay, more White Collar! And boo, only six eps!
